Your first sentence
Russian often leaves out “am,” “is,” and “are” in simple present-tense statements.
Я студе́нт.I am a student. (male speaker)
Она́ до́ма.She is at home.
Э́то моя́ кни́га.This is my book.
Start with Это… (This is…) and name something around you.
